First 10, a project of EDC, brings together school districts, elementary schools, early childhood programs, and community agencies to improve the quality and coordination of education and care for young children and their families.
My goal for the First 10 logo design was to visually capture the initiative’s three core pillars—effective schools, strong families, and healthy communities. The three circles of the logo serves as a symbol of the collaborative framework that supports children during their first ten years. Designs also included sub-branding for the various communities where First 10 operates.
Impact:
This design reinforces the program’s values and creates a memorable visual identity that strengthens brand recognition across various educational and community sectors. The logo’s simplicity and clarity make it adaptable for a range of materials, ensuring consistent messaging across the program’s communications.
